Small Cat Advocacy and Research (SCAR)
SCAR is a pioneering non-profit dedicated to protecting Sri Lanka’s lesser-known wild cats—the fishing cat, rusty-spotted cat, and jungle cat. Founded in 2017, SCAR blends scientific research with community engagement to safeguard these elusive species and their habitats. From urban wetlands in Colombo to the hill country’s forests, their work includes GPS tracking, roadkill monitoring, and citizen science initiatives. By raising awareness and collaborating with local communities and government agencies, SCAR ensures these forgotten felines receive the attention and protection they deserve.
Positive Change For Marine Life (PCFML)
Positive Change for Marine Life (PCFML) is an Australian-based ocean conservation NGO based in Australia, India, and the Solomon Islands.
PCMFL currently runs three key global programs that drive long-term change and address some of the most pressing challenges facing our marine life and ocean communities.
