Australian berries
Provides a range of beneficial antioxidant compounds. Strawberries contain fisetin, which may have neuroprotective effects. Pterostilbene, from blueberries, is similar to resveratrol and may have anti-inflammatory effects.
Dark leafy greens
A rich source of the antioxidants lutein, vitamin C and alpha-lipoic acid. Alpha-lipoic acid has been shown to increase glutathione activity in adult dogs, which is an important antioxidant.
Australian green lady finger banana starch
Green bananas are a rich source of resistant starch, a type of prebiotic that promotes the growth of beneficial gut bacteria.
Yeast fermentate (postbiotic)
Has been shown to improve the diversity of gut bacteria in dogs, promote the growth of beneficial species, and decrease ammonia and biogenic amine production.
