Key features and benefits
Astragalus extract to improve proteinuria
May help to reduce proteinuria in patients with chronic kidney disease. It can also enhance antioxidant status and is renoprotective in other species.
Psyllium husk (prebiotic) and Saccharomyces cerevisiae fermentate (postbiotic)
Supports a healthy and diverse intestinal microbiota. Prebiotics may help to also reduce the production of uraemic toxins.
DHA (an omega-3 fatty acid) from marine algae
May help reduce kidney fibrosis. DHA in particular may have renoprotective effects.
Antioxidants from Australian mixed berries
Rich in antioxidants like fisetin and pterostilbene to support renal function and reduce the risk of kidney failure developing.
How to use CompleteMe Renal Canine
CompleteMe® Renal Canine contains essential nutrients, omega-3 fatty acids, and fibre to create a balanced, low phosphorus renal diet at home.
It can be added to a range of raw or cooked meats, vegetables, and other ingredients to produce meals suitable for either:
- Early kidney disease (IRIS stage 1-2)
- Advanced kidney disease (IRIS stage 2-4)
