CompleteMe Renal Feline

Key features and benefits

Omega-3 fatty acids from green-lipped mussels and marine algae

Betafin® natural betaine

Assists with weight maintenance and has been shown to have osmoprotective effects in the kidney. We only include natural (not synthetic) betaine, derived from beets.

Prebiotic fibre from green banana resistant starch and organic cat grass

May reduce production of uraemic toxins by gut bacteria. Resistant starch, in particular, may reduce serum phosphorus.

Lutein and zeaxanthin from marigolds

Carotenoids like lutein increases antioxidant activity in the kidney. High dietary intake may decrease mortality in humans with kidney disease.

How to use CompleteMe Renal Feline

CompleteMe® Renal Feline contains essential nutrients, omega-3 fatty acids, and fibre to create a balanced, low phosphorus renal diet at home.

It can be added to a range of raw or cooked meats, vegetables, and other ingredients to produce meals suitable for either:

  • Early kidney disease (IRIS stage 1-2)
  • Advanced kidney disease (IRIS stage 2-4)

Discuss with your veterinarian whether feeding raw meat is suitable for your cat and household.

We provide flexible feeding guides for cats with both early and advanced kidney disease:

  • Choose the meat, vegetables, and other ingredients you want to use
  • Makes food that is moderate to low in protein, with restricted phosphorus, and added omega-3 and antioxidants
  • Low-fat and novel protein options are available
